Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all content published, streamed, broadcast or shared on Nevuxia. It applies to every user and forms part of our Terms & Conditions, alongside our Content Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nevuxia is a social music platform. Publishing posts, uploading pictures and sharing content is always free — we never charge for posting or for content creation. Payments on Nevuxia are limited to virtual coins used for voluntary gifts to creators.
1. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Nevuxia:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualization of minors.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation or human trafficking.
- Nudity or sexually explicit material, including AI-generated sexual content.
- Real violence, terrorism, violent extremism, or content that organizes or promotes harm.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing or coordinated attacks.
- Promotion of self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- Sale or promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit or regulated goods.
- Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, money laundering, financial fraud or pyramid schemes.
- Copyright or trademark infringement, leaked unreleased music and unauthorized samples.
- Unauthorized voice cloning, impersonation, or misleading use of another artist's identity.
- Spam, bots, fake engagement, purchased followers/plays, scraping or reverse engineering.
2. Automated Detection, Demonetization and Removal
Nevuxia operates a layered enforcement system that programmatically detects, demonetizes and removes content that violates this AUP:
- Upload-time screening. Every audio, image, video and text upload is validated and screened automatically before it is published. Files that fail our safety checks are rejected at upload.
- Automated content classification. Uploaded media, lyrics, captions, comments, messages and live chat are scanned by automated moderation models for sexual content involving minors, sexual content, violence, hate speech, harassment, self-harm and fraud signals. High-confidence matches are removed or quarantined automatically without waiting for a human review.
- Automatic demonetization. When content or an account is flagged, monetization is disabled programmatically: gifting and coin transactions on that content are blocked, pending creator earnings tied to the violating content are withheld, and payouts on the account are frozen pending review.
- AI disclosure enforcement. AI-generated tracks must be labeled with the AI-generated toggle. Mislabeled uploads are flagged, demonetized and removed.
- Human review. A trust & safety reviewer examines escalations and appeals. Automated actions can be reversed on appeal.
- Repeat-offender policy (automated strikes). Every automated removal writes a strike to the account's enforcement record. The first strike automatically freezes monetization and payouts on the account. Three strikes, or a single severe violation (such as content involving minors), automatically bans the account. Where legally required we report to NCMEC and other authorities.
3. Reporting and Content Removal Requests
Nevuxia provides in-product reporting functionality available to end users, rights holders and other aggrieved parties:
- In-app Report button. Every profile, track, post, comment and direct message has a Report option in its menu, with reason categories including spam or scam, harassment or hate speech, sexual or violent content, minor / child safety, impersonation, copyright infringement and other, plus a free-text field for details.
- Block. Any user can block another user, which hides their content and prevents contact.
- Rights holders and third parties. Anyone — including people without a Nevuxia account — may request removal of violating content by emailing contact@nevuxia.com.
- Copyright / DMCA. Send notices to copyright@nevuxia.com with the work infringed, the infringing URL, your contact information, a good-faith statement and your signature. Verified notices result in removal and a strike; repeat infringers are terminated.
Response times. Reports of child safety, non-consensual intimate imagery or credible threats are prioritized and actioned as fast as possible, typically within 24 hours. All other reports are reviewed within 7 days. Reporters are notified of the outcome where contact information is available, and reporter identity is never disclosed to the reported account.
4. Enforcement Actions
- Removal or restriction of the specific content.
- Demonetization: gifting disabled, earnings withheld, payouts frozen.
- Feature restrictions (uploading, messaging, radio hosting, live audio).
- Temporary suspension or permanent ban of the account.
- Reporting to NCMEC and law enforcement where legally required.
5. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, email appeal@nevuxia.com within 30 days with your username, the content URL and a brief explanation. A human reviewer will re-evaluate the decision.
6. Minors
Nevuxia is a strict 13+ platform. Accounts belonging to children under 13 are deactivated and deleted. Accounts for users aged 13–17 default to restricted settings and cannot monetize. See our Content Policy for full details.
